Season and availability
Works year-round and shrugs off the rains — much of it is indoors or close to town. In high season the Cathedral is calmer at opening time, which is when we schedule it.
Worth knowing
We usually place this day late in your trip, not first: Cusco sits higher than the Valley, and arriving legs deserve gentler ground. The order of days is a feature, not an accident.
